From 20 Years in Education to Afreyn Jewels
After more than 20 years in education, I found myself wanting to create something new, something of my own.
At school, I often watched my girl students light up over the smallest things: shiny earrings, a delicate bracelet, a pretty hair clip. I saw the same joy in the women around me. A little piece of jewellery could lift their mood and their confidence. Every woman deserves that feeling every day, yet good jewellery was often too expensive to wear daily, and cheaper pieces lost their shine too quickly.
But honestly, I was afraid.
Going from school leader to a small jewellery business felt like a huge leap, and I kept wondering, “What will people say?” More than once, I almost let the idea go.
That’s when my daughters stepped in. “Just start, Mumma,” they said. “You’ve always encouraged others. Now it’s your turn.” Their faith gave me the courage I needed.
Behind the scenes, I spent months researching, searching for the right designs and testing quality, until I found pieces that truly last.
That is how Afreyn Jewels was born, here in Hyderabad.
Afreyn Jewels offers beautiful fashion jewellery that everyone can afford, so you can wear something different every day. Our collections include Anti-Tarnish, Korean, CZ (cubic zirconia) and Traditional jewellery, and Moissanite jewellery is coming soon.

A note from me
Why I Handpick Every Piece
I choose every design myself. If I wouldn’t happily wear it to a busy workday and then out to dinner, it doesn’t make it into the collection. I check the finish, the comfort and how it feels after a whole day on, because that is how you will wear it too.
My years in education taught me that confidence is built in small moments. I hope an Afreyn Jewels piece becomes one of yours.
